Junior POLICIES

Weekly Commitment:
When you register for our Junior Program, you are committing to the same day and time each week. If your child attends multiple days, those days must remain consistent throughout the session.

Registration & Payment
All participants must complete an online registration form before starting. Your spot is confirmed only once payment is processed. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX. All payments go directly through Sceney Tennis.
If no registration form is submitted, players will be charged the drop-in rate of $24/hour.

Pricing & Pro-Rated Fees
Listed prices assume a start date during Week 1 of the session.
Late registrations or early cancellations after Week 1 are permitted, space allowing, and will be billed at a pro-rated rate plus 5% of the full program fee.

Weather Cancellations:
Classes are canceled only for inclement weather or unsafe court conditions. USTA weather guidelines and procedures will be followed. Weather decisions are made in real time based on safety and playability.

Weather Notifications:
If we must cancel due to weather, we will notify families via GroupMe for that specific class group. We are unable to respond to individual text messages.

Yellow Ball Sessions:
Yellow Ball programs (3–5 PM, 5:30–7 PM Development, and 5–7 PM) run rain or shine

Session Structure:
Each 8-week session is scheduled across a 9-week period (March 9th-May 17th). Week 9 is built if rain outs or inclement weather occur. If no classes are canceled, additional classes may be offered in week 9 for an additional cost.
Yellow Ball Clinics run 9 weeks regardless of weather

Missed Classes & Make-Ups:
If you miss a class, you may request to attend another class within the same session—with prior approval from the Tennis Director.
No credit is given for missed classes that cannot be made up.

Weather Makeup Day:
An additional weather makeup day is scheduled for Saturday, March 7th if needed due to weather cancellations.

Illness Policy:
Classes missed due to illness must be made up during the current session. They do not carry over to the next session.

Requesting to Attend a Different Class:
To attend a different class, you must email Blaine Sumpter at sceneytennisblaine@gmail.com beforehand to confirm space.
Without prior approval, you may not be permitted to join if the class is full.

Withdrawals:
All withdrawals must be submitted in writing. Please email Blaine Sumpter to withdraw from any class.
