Katy Sceney is USPTA/RSPA certified and has been teaching tennis for the past 25 years. She got her start at age 10, joining a neighborhood Junior ALTA team in Marietta, and has played ever since, eventually finishing her junior tennis playing at University of Portland.

Since moving to Atlanta in 2013, Katy has been a tennis teaching professional at White Columns, Manor and Polo before becoming Director of Polo Tennis and now Owner of Sceney Tennis at Crooked Creek with her husband Brad since 2018.

 

Katy and Brad have 2 daughters, both have grown up playing in the Sceney Tennis program at Crooked Creek. Elle is a collegiate tennis player at Presbyterian College and Isla is a rising Senior at West Forsyth with 2 back to back State Championships.

 

Katy is involved in all areas ranging from Adult Tennis, Junior Tennis, Social Events and Team match play. “I love teaching all ages and levels of the game. I have high intensity and a passion for seeing my players succeed by having fun, working hard and enjoying the game of tennis! I love Crooked Creek and its amazing community!”
